Ulster Savings Bank Announces Branch Manager Promotions

Ulster Savings Bank is pleased to announce promotions of three long-standing branch managers: Melissa Carlile, Kathy DeLano, and Briana Purdy.

Melissa Carlile has been promoted to Branch Manager/Banking Officer at the bank’s Stone Ridge location. Ms. Carlile’s responsibilities include oversight of all day-to-day branch operations, providing support, guidance, and training to branch staff, as well as achieving the branch’s business development goals throughout the surrounding areas.

 A Kerhonkson, NY resident, Melissa is a graduate of the Ulster Leadership Development Institute, a leadership skill development program provided by the Ulster County Regional Chamber of Commerce. A leader in her community, she is vice president of the Rondout Valley Business Association, treasurer of the Lederman Children's Center, and treasurer of the Rondout Valley Scholarship Fund. She has been a bank employee for 26 years.

Kathy DeLano, an employee of Ulster Savings Bank for 28 years, has been promoted to Branch Manager/Banking Officer at the bank’s Burnett Boulevard, Poughkeepsie location. Ms. DeLano, a Lagrange resident, manages the operations of her branch, oversees and provides guidance, support, and training to her staff to achieve the branch’s business goals and further develop community relations.

She holds a bachelor's degree in business management from Empire State University. Ms. DeLano also holds two associate degrees in business and accounting from Dutchess Community College.

Kathy is a committee member of the Town of Lagrange Board of Assessment Review, the former vice president of the Southern Ulster Chamber of Commerce and served on the Gardiner Association of Businesses and the Gardiner Day Committee. She has volunteered her time to other community organizations such as the United Way, Family Services of Poughkeepsie, the Lunch Box of Poughkeepsie, Sparrows Nest, and Hudson Valley Animal Rescue.

Briana Purdy has been promoted to AVP/Branch Manager at the bank’s Kingston headquarters. Ms. Purdy’s role will oversee the operations of the Schwenk Drive, Kingston branch location, build rapport with the community, assist with customer relations, provide leadership, and ensure that the branch meets its goals and objectives.

A Gardiner resident, Ms. Purdy is a graduate of the Ulster Leadership Development Institute, the Trusted Advisor Program, and the Accredited Banking Professional Certification Program. A leader in her community, she is president of the Kingston Rotary Club, a board member of Gateway Hudson Valley, and past president for Gateway Community Foundation. Briana has volunteered for many community events and fundraisers throughout Ulster County. She has been a bank employee for 23 years.
